Dangerous substances data bank
This is an archive containing the complete list of the substances classified to date by the European Commission (over 3,600 substances).
For each substance it is possible to view and print a sheet containing the following information:
- EC classification, complete with:
- CAS, EC and index code numbers
- R/S phrases
- notes
- danger symbols
- limits of concentration for labelling of preparations
- restrictions regarding introduction on the market.
- ADR classification for land transportation, ADR 2005 update.
- Classification according to IMDG code for sea transportation, amdt. 32/2004.
Documentation
MAP 29 contains several documents relating to regulations on labelling:
- Risk phrases
- Precautionary advice
- Directions concerning the labelling of substances and preparations
- Tables for classification (with standard limits of concentration)
- Notes on labelling (sizes, special symbols, etc.)
New features
Compared to the previous version (MAP 28) a number of new features have been introduced:
- 449 new substances added
- Classification of 437 substances has been modified
- New version updated to ADR 2005
- New version updated to IMDG Code, amdt. 32-2004
- List of names and documentation in Italian and English
- New graphics
- Possibility of opening several ‘substance sheets’ at the same time
Software characteristics
MAP 29 may be installed on PCs equipped with Windows XP, 2000, NT.
DO NOT install on different Operative Systems.
Hardware requisites
RAM memory: at least 64 MB.
Hard Disk: approx. 30 MB free.
